What is Evaluation (Challenge)?
An evaluation, also called a challenge, is the test phase a prop firm uses to decide whether to give you a funded account. You usually pay a fee, then trade a demo or simulated account while trying to reach a profit target without violating the drawdown or daily loss rules. Some firms use one phase, others use two. Passing the evaluation moves you to the funded stage; breaking a rule ends the attempt.
Why Evaluation (Challenge) matters
The evaluation is where most attempts end, so its rules decide whether the fee turns into account access.
