What is Evaluation Fee?
The evaluation fee is the upfront price a trader pays to attempt a prop firm challenge. It is sometimes refundable on the first payout and sometimes not, depending on the firm. These fees, along with resets and add ons, are a major revenue source for retail prop firms, which is part of why so many evaluations are designed to be hard to pass.
Why Evaluation Fee matters
It is the real cost of attempting a challenge, and comparing it against pass rates and reset prices shows the true price of getting funded.
