What is Overtrading?
Overtrading is taking far more trades than your plan or your edge actually calls for, often out of boredom, frustration, or the feeling that you should always be doing something. Each extra trade adds costs and exposure without adding edge. It is a common way that an account bleeds out slowly even when individual trades feel reasonable.
Why Overtrading matters
More activity is not more edge, and the extra costs and exposure of overtrading quietly erode results.
