What is Independent Events?
Two events are independent when one happening does not change the chance of the other. For independent events, the chance that both happen is the two probabilities multiplied together. Two flips of a fair coin are independent; several trades opened in the same sell-off usually are not.
Why Independent Events matters
Losing streak odds are only as good as the assumption that each trade is unrelated to the last.
