What is Bracket Order?
A bracket order pairs an entry with two exit orders set in advance: a take-profit above and a stop-loss below for a long position. When one exit fills, the other is usually cancelled automatically. Brackets let a trader define the full plan, entry and both exits, before the trade is live.
Why Bracket Order matters
It builds a planned exit on both sides into the order itself, so the trade is managed even if you step away.
