What is Sample Size?
Sample size is the number of trades or observations behind a result. With only a handful of trades, luck dominates and the numbers mean almost nothing. A larger sample makes win rate, expectancy, and drawdown more trustworthy, though it never makes them certain.
Why Sample Size matters
Ten trades can look amazing by pure chance, so sample size decides how much to believe a result.
